We had so much community support and engagement around the concept of The Ram ( which we haven’t given up on ) that we have moved closer. Literally, next door but one with a "Baby Ram" project.
A socially trading, not for profit, smaller scaled community hub.
We are actively seeking support from skilled tradespeople and volunteers who are willing to contribute their time, expertise, or resources to help us prepare our new community space. We are particularly looking for:
• Plumbers
• Plasterers
• Tilers
• Joiners
• Painters & decorators
• General builders and handy volunteers
Whether you can offer a few hours, a full day, materials, or professional skills, every contribution will make a meaningful difference in helping us open our doors and begin serving the community as soon as possible.
This project is more than a building—it is a shared investment in the future of our community. Together, we can create a space that not only feeds people but uplifts, supports, and empowers them, aid healing and recovery, improves mental health, supports environmental food saving and reduces co2 levels, offers educational opportunities and volunteering roles to build confidence and cv/ work experience for those looking to progress into work .
